I attended one of the workshops led by CIVICUS at the 3rd World Youth Congress at Stirling University this morning and it was a great learning experience. We broke up into 3 groups of 5 and worked on a action plan for our organizations to tackle social, economic and environmental issues in our communities. The exercise lasted for 2 hours and each workshop participant brought real life examples and success stories from their countries and then shared them with the whole group. They also got feedback from their peers on how to improve their strategies to achieve their sustainable development goals.
